Three years after honouring the City of St Petersburg on its 300th anniversary in 2003, Caran d’Ache, Maison de Haute Ecriture, celebrates the 150th anniversary of the Tretyakov State Gallery in Moscow. It has created a pair of exceptional writing instruments for art lovers and collectors. Their design is inspired by the architectural details and the warm colours of the famous gallery’s brick façade, the work of the Russian artist Viktor Wasnetsov, in pure Neo-Russian style.
The case dedicated to the Tretyakov State Gallery contains a fountain pen and a ballpoint pen. Both instruments are produced in 150 pieces and each is numbered individually.
